One of the more embarrassing situations I faced working in a big organization, was when the sustainability organization communicated one message to the suppliers, usually something that was very urgent and important, and another part of the organization had no idea about it and communicated a conflicting message.
Or the other way around; the business would do a new big initiative and we in the sustainability team would find out from the supplier...🙄
Non-alignment, or poor integration, of the sustainability agenda within a company does not only lead to weaker results, but it also leads to misunderstandings, confusion, and sometimes embarrassing situations.
Luckily there are ways to avoid these situation, and from my own mistakes I have learnt how to do it better.
If you want to know more about my program where I tackle the challenges of integrating sustainability into an organization stuck in old ways of working, DO NOT SNOOZE.
I’ll soon be launching the 4C accelerator program, and I am looking for change makers who want to take part of the BETA version which is starting mid-November.
Seats are very limited so please send me a message asap if you are interested and I will tell you more.
